A conference on Climate Emergency was held last March 21-23, 2023 at the Manresa Retreat House. The event was spearheaded by Philippine-Misereor Partnership, (Inc) PMPI along with UST Simbahayan, Fellowship for the Care of Creation Association, Inc. (FCCAI), Caritas Philippines, Rights of Nature PH, Conference Major Superiors in the Philippines, Laudato Si Movement Philippines.

The Dominican Family for Justice and Peace – Philippines issues a statement for the Declaration of Climate Emergency to create more awareness to bolster climate protection initiatives not only among the friars, sisters, students, employees, educational institutions, and convents, among others but also it may influence the faithful in general.
