Activist groups in the Philippines have warned the Asia Development Bank (ABD) that it will “once again be missing” the 1.5 degree Celsius climate goal if it will adopt its proposed energy policy.

The groups said the resolution of the UN Human Rights Council will benefit the “poor and marginalized communities who are most vulnerable” to the impacts of climate change.
