The groups said the resolution of the UN Human Rights Council will benefit the “poor and marginalized communities who are most vulnerable” to the impacts of climate change.
Yet as to be expected, the Youth4Climate event was not without its flaws, some of which are reflective of the realities of climate governance in the Philippines and elsewhere.
Among the key demands is the “meaningful participation” of youth professionals and advocates at the global, national, and local levels.
